My name is Nii Okaidja, and I am a photographer with 7 years of experience. I was born and raised in Ghana where I developed a passion for photography shortly before I left for the United States. My dedication and hard work have led me to become one of the most sought-after new creatives in the industry.
I pursued formal education and graduated from the Seattle Central Creative Academy for Photography and Filmmaking. Since then, I have worked on various projects ranging from portraits, and commercial shoots, to documentary and travel photography.
My unique background and perspective bring a fresh and diverse approach to my work. I aim to capture the beauty and essence of my subjects in a way that is both authentic and powerful. I have been fortunate to have my work recognized and featured in various publications, including Praze Magazine, I also have a documentary that has screened twice at the NorthWest Film FestivalĀ andĀ came in second place for best documentary.
Despite my success, I remain humble and grounded, always seeking to learn and improve my craft. I am proud of my Ghanaian heritage and often draw inspiration from the rich culture and traditions of my homeland.
With my talent and experience, I am constantly pushing the boundaries of photography and capturing images that leave a lasting impression on those who view them. I believe that photography is a powerful tool for storytelling, and I strive to create images that resonate with my viewers.
As a photographer, I am a true ambassador of my country and a testament to the power of hard work and dedication. I am grateful for the opportunities that photography has given me and look forward to continuing my journey in this amazing field.
